Karna Hensley

I am a co-founder of SUAVO, a Mother, Wife, and a Drone Pilot. For the last decade, I've enjoyed the privilege of managing personnel as an Emergency Room Charge Nurse, an often challenging but equally rewarding position.
The majority of my drone operating experience has been supporting the Nevada mining industry in often remote and challenging environments. I hold multiple Bachelor's and Associate Degrees, an FAA Part 107 Certificate, and MHSA Certification. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and off-road motorsports.
Justin Hensley
Operations Manager
My aviation career began in 1996 when I operated a UAV for the first time. It wasn’t long before I also became interested in manned flight. For 20 years, I functioned as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot, primarily operating an Air Ambulance (EMS) Helicopter. During my 20-year helicopter career, I was also a Lead Pilot, CRM Instructor, and a Part 135 Check Airman.
Fast-forward to a few years ago when I expanded my horizons into the fixed-wing flight, and I am now a First Officer with one of the largest Airlines in the U.S. During this period, I also worked in the field as a Paramedic. It’s been a busy and productive 25 years!
